Speech Language Pathologist in California, MD
Step into a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital services to students at both elementary and middle school levels. Your role will cover a diverse caseload across one elementary and one middle school, allowing you to work with students requiring a range of speech and language interventions. Starting as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027, you’ll play an instrumental role throughout the academic year, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Maryland SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple age groups
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adept at collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students at both elementary and middle schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster an environment supportive of student communication needs
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process, ensuring continuity of care
