Your expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy will enable you to empower students in boosting their communication skills, ensuring they thrive both in and out of the classroom. Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience servicing students across preschool, elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Proficiency with pediatric diagnostics and interventions in academic settings
- Comfortable managing IEPs, documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Conduct screenings and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and IEP compliance
