Speech Language Pathologist in Lakeville, MN
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Burnsville, MN, providing leave coverage for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) SLP through June 4, 2026, with potential for summer evaluations. This onsite role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week in a school setting, delivering critical speech and language therapy services to support student development and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services tailored to ECSE students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of student performance and treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Conduct summer evaluations if needed to assess speech and language needs
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP in Minnesota
- Experience working as an SLP in a school environment, preferably with early childhood special education populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work onsite full-time and commit to the contract term ending June 2026
