School Speech and Language Pathologist | Minneapolis, Minnesota
Speech-Language Pathologist needed for an elementary school setting supporting students with diverse speech and language needs. This contract position spans the current school year, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm. The role involves working closely with a caseload of approximately 65 students, including those in center-based programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide direct therapy and support in speech, language, fluency, and communication.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary school settings.
- Strong skills in supporting speech and language needs including center-based programs.
Location: Minneapolis, MN – Elementary School environment
Duration: Contract for the Current School Year (CSY), ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY)
