Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working within K-12 public, private, or charter schools is a plus
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor students’ progress and maintain clear documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Offer direct and consultative therapy for students both individually and in small groups
- Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide guidance and training to school personnel and families to promote effective communication strategies
