Professionally, you'll benefit from working in a new educational environment during Extended School Year (ESY) programming from June 9th to June 30th for about 20 hours per week. This role will allow you to collaborate with fellow educators and leaders, gain exposure to varied workplace practices, and work with diverse student populations—perfect for those looking to enhance their expertise and resume while fostering meaningful connections.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator’s License (PEL) for IL schools via ISBE
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with pediatric populations and/or school-based settings preferred (CFY and CCC considered)
Your Role:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students during ESY
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success
- Provide services in both Spanish and English as needed
