Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid and current state license as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to develop effective treatment plans
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and school staff regarding communication strategies
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
