Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage for a supportive school team beginning September 11, 2026. This full-time, onsite opportunity serves an approximate caseload of 60 students and is expected to continue through February 2027, with the possibility of extending through the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.
The school ideally seeks an SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); however, candidates currently completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) may also be considered as the district is exploring appropriate supervision options.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a supportive school-based setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services
Manage an approximate caseload of 60 students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Provide maternity leave coverage beginning September 11, 2026
Perform all duties expected of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification required
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered, pending appropriate supervision arrangements
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth and communication development
