Experience a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near Brownsburg, IN. This assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Work closely with a caseload of 40-70 students, collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering students’ communication skills and educational success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Previous experience working in schools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage with diverse student needs across K-12 grade levels
- Commitment to collaborative practices with teachers and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate student records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in ongoing communication with families and staff
- Adapt therapy methods to suit a variety of learning styles and needs
Pay for this opportunity ranges between $55 to $60 per hour, delivered as weekly pay for your convenience.
