School Speech Language Pathologist - Avon, Indiana

This role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days. You will work closely with diverse students, providing assessment, therapy, and tailored supports to meet a range of speech and language needs. Compensation for this role is highly competitive, offering $55-60 per hour, and is supported by regular weekly pay.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP (Speech-Language Pathology) license required
- Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children
- Comfort managing a caseload of 40-70 K-12 students
- Strong collaboration, communication, and record-keeping skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services
- Maintain accurate documentation per school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
