Ideal candidates possess:
- Active or pending SLP-CCC or CFY licensure and appropriate state credentials
- Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred, but CFYs are welcome)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver direct therapy services
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and related compliance
- Flexibility to adapt to both full-year and leave coverage assignments
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech/language and communication assessments
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Designing and implementing therapy programs for students with a variety of needs
- Maintaining accurate, timely records and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Providing both individual and group therapy services
- Communicating progress to families and collaborating with school staff
