Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Strong background and interest in pediatric speech/language disorders
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students (pre-K through high school) in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, and develop tailored intervention plans
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of student progress per school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for speech/language goals and services
- Educate school staff and families regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
