Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience delivering speech/language therapy in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and other specialists to support student success
- Engage with families to provide updates, guidance, and resources for continued growth at home
- Attend IEP meetings and professional development sessions as required
