Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and intervention techniques for a range of speech and language disorders
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech, language, and communication therapy targeting students’ educational needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Serve as a resource to the school team for best practices in speech-language development
