Qualifications:
- Active Vermont SLP license is required
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly valued
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive academic environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain diligent documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Deliver services both individually and in group settings, adapting techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Offer training and guidance to educational teams regarding communication strategies
