Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license or eligibility to practice in Connecticut
- Previous experience working with K–12 populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across multiple grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to create effective, individualized treatment plans
- Conduct screenings and assessments; document progress and maintain thorough records to support IEP development
- Offer direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and school-wide professional development as needed
