Qualifications:
- Must hold the Initial Educator Teacher Certification with a Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology specific to the state.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required.
- This position is open to experienced therapists only; new graduates will not be considered.
- Previous experience working within a school environment preferred, serving a caseload of 50-60 students, with potential for growth throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades K-8, with individualized treatment plans.
- Manage and maintain a caseload of 50-60 students, adjusting based on needs as the academic year progresses.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes according to state and school requirements.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
