School Speech Therapist | New Haven, Connecticut
This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position in New Haven, CT offers the opportunity to work across K-8 and high school settings within a dynamic K-12 environment. The role supports a caseload ranging from 50 to 70 students, providing comprehensive speech and language services aligned with student needs and developmental levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Attending PPT meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Providing direct therapy and intervention tailored to student goals and progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation as required by school standards and regulations
- Supporting compliance with timelines and state education requirements
Desired qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
- Experience working within school settings, including K-12 grade levels
- Familiarity with IEP development, educational regulations, and collaborative team approaches
- Ability to manage moderate to large caseloads effectively
- Open to considering candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials under ProCare’s provided supervision
