A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Lake Worth, FL, supporting schools across Palm Beach County. This contract role begins ASAP with an end date of May 29, 2026, offering 35 hours per week. Assignments are on-site only, spanning multiple school locations within the county, serving diverse age groups and caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students, including those with regular education needs, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), pre-kindergarten, developmental delays, and other special needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with school goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district requirements
- Adhere to all credentialing and fingerprinting regulations for school access
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license from the Department of Health
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children across a range of disabilities, including ASD and developmental delays
- Ability to manage caseloads at multiple school sites within the district
- Successful completion of fingerprint clearance and internal prescreen video interview is required
Candidates will serve in various school settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools, with caseloads varying by site and student needs. This position is focused on in-person delivery of services; teletherapy assignments are separate.
