As a member of our school-based team, you’ll work a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, providing vital speech and language services while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. This position is available immediately through the end of May, with the possibility of extending into a longer-term role for the right candidate.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with school-aged children across a broad grade range (PreK – 12th grade)
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and provide direct speech-language therapy for students
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with the educational team
- Maintain thorough and timely therapy records and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Deliver services in individual and group settings as appropriate to student needs
