Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Current Massachusetts SLP licensure or eligibility.
- DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) status up-to-date or in process.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is prioritized; proficiency in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese highly valued.
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy services to K-12 students with speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with school and district requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary solutions.
