Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bolingbrook, IL

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Hold an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license and a valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- School-based experience strongly preferred, especially with preschool-aged children
- Proficiency in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building connections with students, staff, and families
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, supportive educational environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Creating and implementing therapy plans tailored to each child
- Delivering direct services to students within the preschool environment
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintaining timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable input on student growth
