Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and families. Candidates will work onsite Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, across various school sites with a caseload encompassing ages from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Indiana SLP Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Outstanding communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass required background and fingerprint checks prior to starting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress and contribute to team meetings as needed
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment
