A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a full-time contract role starting with the new school year and continuing through the end of the next school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and provide resources
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials to practice in schools
- Experience working as an SLP in educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and priorities
