Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each student’s academic and functional success
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Engage in progress monitoring and share outcomes with stakeholders
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required
