Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level
- Familiarity with offering both direct and makeup therapeutic services
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload requirements efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to elementary students with speech, language, voice, or fluency issues
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions, including makeup service records
- Offer consultation and support to educators regarding best practices in classroom communication strategies
