School Speech Language Pathologist - Berwyn, Illinois
Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working 0.4 – 2 days per week for the full academic year, supporting students in grades 6 through 8. This contract role is based near Berwyn, IL, and focuses on delivering specialized services to middle schoolers, primarily those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), along with select speech-only students who do not receive special education services.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid (or eligible) state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Experience in school settings, particularly working with students with IEPs and adolescents
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students, mainly those with IEPs, as well as speech-only cases
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure tailored support and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and communication
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise toward speech-language goals and student advocacy
- Utilize appropriate technology and teletherapy platforms as needed
