Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches to address a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
