Pediatric SLP in Berwyn, IL
This opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position located onsite near South Holland, IL, serving K-12 students for the 26/27 school year. The role offers 32.5 hours per week in a school setting, providing comprehensive speech and language services to support students’ communication skills and academic success.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based environment. The ideal candidate will develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families, implement therapeutic interventions, and monitor student progress. This position supports students across a diverse caseload from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in professional school settings working with pediatric populations
- Strong skills in teletherapy services are a plus, but the primary work is onsite
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion is desirable
