Qualifications:
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy and support strategies to fit the needs of diverse student populations
- Comfortable utilizing technology as needed for remote or hybrid service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students individually or in groups, using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support holistic student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
