Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Current CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload across preschool and secondary grade levels
- Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to preschool students, targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and other communication needs
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in preschool and grades 6-12
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress monitoring
- Serve as a resource to families and teachers, offering strategies to support student communication in various educational settings
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and other team collaborations
