Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Maryland as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in school settings or pediatric populations is beneficial
- Proficiency in delivering both direct and consultative services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Provide direct and indirect therapy to individuals and groups
- Develop and implement effective IEP goals in collaboration with families and school teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Consult with educators and families to support student success and generalization of skills
- Stay updated with best practices in speech-language pathology and student support
