Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Prior experience providing SLP services in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct therapy sessions individually or in small groups, adapting approaches for diverse learners
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all required federal, state, and district guidelines
- Support students’ participation and achievement in their academic and social environments
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and updates on student progress
