Opening 1 offers a full-time schedule supporting preschool and early elementary students—approximately 50 learners—helping to develop foundational communication skills at a crucial stage. Opening 2 provides a part-time, 3.5-day schedule working with K-12 students on the autism spectrum (approx. 32 students), addressing a range of unique speech and language challenges across two campus locations.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist credentials (SLP-CCC), with eligibility to practice in educational environments
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), therapy documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency working with diverse student populations, including those on the autism spectrum
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and document evidence-based treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state guidelines
