Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, with a strong understanding of IEP development and case management
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, interpreting and reporting findings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services to students in various educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district policies and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource for staff on speech-language topics and effective classroom strategies
