School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bedford, Ohio
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-age students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position begins on August 24, 2026, and concludes on June 7, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll play a key role in enhancing the communication skills and educational experiences of students in grades 4–5 across two intermediate school campuses.
You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and service teams while managing a caseload of approximately 40–50 students. Your expertise will enable these young learners to thrive academically and socially, making a meaningful impact every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Ohio School SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work across two sites with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and small group
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress
- Partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
