Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility for endorsement)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Skilled in working with K-12 students; experience in pediatric therapy essential
- Familiarity with school-based IEP development and implementation
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms strongly valued
- SLPA experience in school or healthcare settings is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver therapy sessions both in-person and virtually as needed
- Monitor student outcomes and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance and resources to support staff and families
- Assist, supervise, or collaborate with SLPAs when appropriate
