Travel Speech Pathology - Baton Rouge, LA
Seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time travel position in Baton Rouge, LA. This opportunity involves working across two school sites from the start date ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The role requires collaboration with educational teams to provide quality speech therapy services and complete compensatory education minutes at both campuses.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage caseload across two school locations, ensuring consistent therapy and progress monitoring
- Provide compensatory education minutes as required to support student development
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of services and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
Qualifications and experience:
- Current SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP or independently in school environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel between two school sites within Baton Rouge
