Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license for the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience in school settings or pediatrics strongly preferred
- Knowledge of evaluation tools, IEP processes, and evidence-based therapy practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a range of abilities
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote language development and academic success
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
