Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
- Prior experience with school-aged children preferred, especially in educational environments
- Comfortable providing speech-language services both onsite or virtually
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to 8 students identified with Speech Language Impairment and 6 students currently receiving speech-language support
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Document and report according to school and state guidelines, maintaining compliance and confidentiality
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student needs in person or remotely when required
- Schedule and manage caseload within 15-20 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility
