Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but will consider Clinical Fellowship Year applicants
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly favored
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse caseload of students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, evaluations, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development activities
- Offer consultation and training for staff and parents to maximize effectiveness of interventions
- Adapt therapy techniques and strategies to meet each child’s unique needs
