Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland or eligibility for appropriate state certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized student treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
- Provide consultative services and training to staff as necessary
