Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2026–2027 School Year
Pay Rate: $40-$55/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year
End Date: End of 2026–2027 School Year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support School District in Bakersfield, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time contract role focuses on an elementary caseload and includes case management responsibilities in a supportive school environment that welcomes CFY candidates.
Responsibilities:
• Provide speech therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
• Manage a mild to moderate caseload of speech-only students
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
• Provide case management for assigned students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation using the SIRAS IEP system
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications:
• Active California SLP License or eligibility required
• CFY candidates encouraged to apply (supervision provided)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage both therapy and case management responsibilities
