Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) accepted
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with assessment tools and therapy techniques suited for school-aged populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and student outcomes
- Deliver both group and individual therapy in accordance with best practices
- Prepare progress reports and provide ongoing support for students’ educational goals
