Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement required
- Illinois SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in assigned schools (caseload and age group dependent on site)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based team initiatives
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Contribute to a positive learning environment while managing a flexible caseload
