School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Aurora, Illinois

Ready to make a real difference in the lives of students? We're searching for two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to work on-site at school campuses in the Elgin area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual (Spanish & English) professionals eager to support diverse student populations and collaborate within a dynamic educational environment. Assignments will run full-time (37.5 hours per week), with multiple school sites possibly combined to create a well-rounded caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
- Illinois SLP state license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
Your Role Will Include:
- Evaluating and identifying speech, language, and communication needs for students across various age groups
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy, consultation, and support services to students assigned to your caseload
- Monitoring progress and maintaining meticulous case documentation
- Working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing as a valued member of the student support team
