Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Melrose Park, Illinois
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This role involves conducting bilingual speech evaluations for students, with a strong emphasis on Spanish-English communication skills. The position offers flexibility, requiring availability 2-3 days per week during the contract school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bilingual speech evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
- Utilize VOCO software for documentation and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication needs
- Provide teletherapy services when required
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory
- Familiarity with speech therapy technology such as VOCO (VBD: Maggie)
- Ability to work part-time with a flexible schedule
