Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Aurora, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support at an elementary school in Aurora, IL. This contract position is onsite and extends from March through the end of the current school year, with the possibility of extension into the following school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress regularly.
- Providing direct therapy services in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
