Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in K-12 educational environments
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and goal writing for a student-based caseload
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse learning profiles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a weekly caseload of K-12 students with varied speech and language needs
- Conduct student assessments, write reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy, group and individual as appropriate, according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other service providers to support students’ academic growth
- Document progress and maintain organized records in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development days, and parent conferences as needed
