Desired skills & experience:
- Eligibility to work as an SLP or SLPA (healthcare or school environments)
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP (CCC and CFY considered) or SLPA
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Previous experience with school-based caseloads highly valued, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary level, with opportunities to support a K-12 caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement strategies that best support each student’s learning and communication needs
- Consult with families and caregivers regarding therapy goals, progress, and at-home strategies
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
