Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Document and track progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Offer guidance and resources to support classroom instructional strategies
- Stay current on best practices within the field of speech-language pathology
